Midwest Athletics and Sports Alliance LLC (“MASA”) is excited to announce its support of the Omaha Venture Group (“OVG”) and their new youth sports initiative. MASA will contributing funds to the OVG, which will allow them to create a grant for nonprofits intending to support youth sports in the area. Each year, the OVG will work on identifying, contacting, and meeting with eligible nonprofits to discuss how this grant can be allocated most effectively. MASA hopes that by combining the OVG’s network of contacts and nonprofits with MASA’s drive to support youth sports, we will have an even bigger impact on Omaha youths.
The OVG is a grassroots, grant-making giving circle comprised of young professionals focused on venture philanthropy to smaller nonprofits that serve the greater Omaha area. Since its inception in 2003, the OVG has funds to over 100 local nonprofits.
