Drive & Donate Campaign Leads to Relationship and Donation to the Football for the World Foundat

Earlier this year, the Football for the World Foundation (“FFWF”) started a Drive & Donate campaign in attempt to obtain football/soccer equipment for disadvantaged children in Omaha. Seeming like a great cause, Midwest Athletics and Sports Alliance LLC (“MASA”) reached out to FFWF’s leadership team to find out how MASA could help. Throughout that process, MASA learned more and more about FFWF, their programs, and their goals. Seeing all the great work they were doing, MASA decided to make the following contributions to not only support their Drive & Donate campaign, but also their future endeavors:

Equipment Donations

  • A $10,000 donation to FFWF so they can obtain and donate various football equipment (i.e. footballs, cleats, etc.) to disadvantaged children in the Omaha metro area.

After School Program

  • 4 Pugg Popup Goals

  • 36 Size 5 Balls

  • 6 Cones

  • 6 Whistles

  • 6 Coaching Whiteboards

  • 65 Training Bibs

  • 1 Agility Stick

  • 6 Ball Pumps

  • Financial Support for Coaching & Education/Professional Development

  • Coaching Stipends

Girls Inc. of Omaha Mini-Pitch Soccer Field

  • Half the cost of installing a US Soccer Mini-Pitch System at Girls Inc of Omaha.

MASA is elated to see the impact FFWF’s efforts will have on countless children across Omaha. The Mini-Pitch Soccer Field at Girls Inc. alone will impact hundreds, if not thousands, of girls. With groups like FFWF, our youths are in good hands.

The Football for the World Foundation is a non-profit football organization that works with schools, sports clubs, community groups, individuals, and corporations to improve the quality of life of children through the game of football. Using the game as a tool, FFTW is able to equip, educate, excel, and empower children on and off the field through its flagship programs which include equipment, environment, and development. To find out more about FFWF or make a contribution, please contact their Executive Director, Monica Bosiljevac, at monica@footballfortheworld.org or visit their website (www.footballfortheworld.org).
